Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
Your privacy matters. This policy explains what information nnakina.com collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. By using the Site or submitting information through it, you voluntarily consent to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who we are
nnakina.com (the ‘Site’) is the official website of Chief Nnakina Xi-Amaru Fears (‘Nnakina,’ ‘we,’ ‘us,’ or ‘our’), a business established and operating under the jurisdiction of the Xi‑Amaru Republic, an Indigenous autonomous self-governing nation formally established December 17, 2022, whose administrative authority is the Aboriginal Ministry of Justice (AMJ). The Republic’s authority is grounded in the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP, UN Resolution 61/295) and the American Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (ADRIP, OAS AG/RES. 2888 (XLVI-O/16)).
This policy covers the Site, purchases made through it, and email correspondence with us. It does not cover third-party websites you reach through links on the Site, including the websites of the Aboriginal Ministry of Justice and the Xi‑Amaru Republic, which have their own policies.
2. Information you choose to give us
We collect only the information you choose to provide, and only when you choose to act:
- Purchases. When you buy a digital product, such as the Entry-Level Tribal Law Course Workbook, the checkout collects your first and last name, email address, phone number and payment details. Checkout and payments are handled by secure, PCI-compliant third-party providers. We never see or store your full card number.
- Newsletter. When you subscribe on the Site, we collect your email address and the date you joined, along with your consent to receive our emails. Subscriber lists are stored privately and never sold or shared for others’ marketing.
- Email. When you write to us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you include in your message.
- Speaking and media requests. Requests are submitted through the speaking request form on the Aboriginal Ministry of Justice website and are handled under AMJ’s Privacy Policy.
You do not need to provide any information to read the Site.
3. Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider records technical data for each visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, the referring page, and the date and time. These logs are used to keep the Site running and secure.
- Fonts. The Site loads its typefaces from a third-party font service, so your browser connects to that service, which receives your IP address. It does not set cookies.
- Checkout. The checkout loads only when you click to buy. Our checkout and payment providers may then set cookies and collect device information to run the checkout and prevent fraud. See our Cookie Policy.
- Advertising measurement (only with your consent). If you click “Accept” on our cookie banner, the Site loads the Meta Pixel. It tells Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram) which pages you viewed and actions you took on the Site, such as subscribing, starting a checkout or clicking to email us, along with your IP address and browser details. We use this to measure our ads and to show our updates to people who have visited the Site. If you decline, or make no choice, the pixel never loads. You can change your mind at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer. See our Cookie Policy.
4. How we use your information
- To deliver what you buy, send receipts and provide support
- To answer your messages and requests
- To keep accounting, tax and business records
- To prevent fraud, misuse and unauthorized chargebacks
- To keep the Site secure and working
- With your consent, to measure our advertising and reach past visitors with our updates on Facebook and Instagram
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions
Newsletter. When you subscribe, we use your email address only to send you our newsletter and related updates. We email you only with your consent, every message includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can ask us to remove you at any time by emailing info@nnakina.com.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Ever.
5. Who we share it with
Only with the service providers needed to run the Site and our business, and only what each one needs. These are trusted providers in the following categories:
- Website hosting
- Checkout, order management and payment processing
- Email and business communications
- Font delivery
- Advertising measurement (Meta), only if you accept advertising cookies
- The Aboriginal Ministry of Justice, for speaking and media requests you submit through its form, and for course matters where you purchased an AMJ course
Each provider may use your information only to provide its service to us. A current list of provider categories is available on request.
We may also disclose information if required by law or valid legal process, to protect the rights, property or safety of Nnakina, our customers or others, or with your direction or consent.
6. How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept as long as needed for accounting, tax and dispute purposes. Correspondence is kept as long as it is useful to serve you. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period and then deleted. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized.
7. Security
The Site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, payments are handled by PCI-compliant processors, and access to records is restricted. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. By submitting information, you accept the inherent risks of internet transmission. We are not liable for unauthorized access by third parties who circumvent reasonable safeguards. If a breach materially affects your information, we will notify you as promptly as circumstances permit.
8. Your choices and rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@nnakina.com. We will respond within 30 days. Some records, such as completed order records, may need to be kept for accounting, tax or fraud-prevention reasons.
California residents may make a request under California Civil Code §1798.83 by emailing us with the subject line “California Privacy Request.” Visitors from the European Union or United Kingdom may exercise rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability by contacting us. We process information on the basis of your consent, the contract you enter when you buy, and our legitimate interest in operating the Site securely.
If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we honor it to the extent possible. The Site does not use third-party tracking.
9. Children
The Site is not directed to children, and purchases are limited to adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Where information is processed
Nnakina operates within the jurisdiction of the Xi‑Amaru Republic, whose Indian Country coexists within United States territory. Our service providers store and process information on servers in the United States and, for some providers, other countries. By using the Site, you consent to this processing.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after a change is posted means you accept the updated policy.
